The GTS 640 will outperform a GTX in an SLI vs single card configuration. Anyone know if 2 GTSs will outperform a single Ultra?

Well, the ultra is only marginally faster than a GTX so if the GTS's beat the GTX by a healthy margin, chances are they will beat an Ultra aswell.
The only thing with SLI is that there are certain games that do not benefit and a single card will still beat an SLI setup there.

Yes for the most part 88gts,s will outperform a single gtx or ultra.

If you are looking to get one i would go for the gtx.
Unless you already have a gts and want another for sli?
