I have only one USB port on the back of my tower and attempted to plug in a hub, but it caused a blue screen. I updated what drivers I could but still got a blue screen. Anyone know if I should replace my USB port or is the hub defective?The port has been working just fine with my printer.

Found my own answer and it's a good thing because no one here wanted to be bothered with me. Posting it here incase anyone needs it in the future. It seems the 2 usb ports on the back of my pc arn't compatible with hubs as they are 7 yrs old. I bought new usb card, plugged it in, plugged in a Dinex 4 port hub with it's own power cord and Yeah, no blue screen and all is well.
