Windows update frozen

Hello,

When I was turning off my computer for the night, I got a windows update installation. this update had 9 parts and it was taking a while, so I let it sit for the night. When I woke up the update was still on 1 of 9.

Can someone tell me what to do to fix this? If necessary I have my cds and I can reinstall windows.

Try booting into safe mode with networking capabilities and let it update again. It should install without a hitch in safe mode (in theory).
