H My fifteen yrs old son formatted a drive before he knew he'd have to save downloaded emails five thousnad's of them from Shaw hot mail to Outlook Express Now the woman he did this for after building the computer for her wants him to retrieve the emails for her. HELP mom

Full format or Quick format?
If it was a quick format the chances are pretty good, a full format the chances aren't so good...

Try something like GetDataBack from runtime.org, the trial version is free and will tell you IF anything can be recovered, you then have to buy a license to recover the files.

THANKS FOR YOUR ADVICE. THEY MANAGED TO LOCATE STORED E-MAILS FROM ANOTHER SITE AND RETRIEVED ALL THE E-MAILS.
