Akamai netsession interface

Should I uninstall it from my computer if I don't even know what kind of software it is?

  1. Hi Puter36,

Gandalf's link explains what Akamai is and I think it is fine to leave on your computer, but if you are concerned about how much space it is taking up, you can uninstall it by following these steps:

Windows: The Akamai NetSession Interface is a network library integrated into other applications. When you uninstall any of those applications, the library uninitializes. If you wish to uninstall the Akamai NetSession Interface, go to the AdminTool found at C:\Program Files\Common Files\Akamai\AdminTool.exe
