My computer keeps crashing and I am running out of ideas on how to fix it. When it crashes I get two horizontal colored bars that resemble bar codes across my screen and everything locks up. At this point, usually windows jumps to its blue screen that says crash dump trying to save any data, shuts down my computer and then locks up during the reboot. When I do finally manage to get the computer to restart windows prompts me with a window saying that a problem occurred and gives me this as the detail:

I have scanned for viruses with Norton Anti-Virus and it comes up clean. I have used the HP diagnostic software that came with my HP, and it says that all hardware is functioning properly. I ran a registry program to clean up my registry. I removed the newly installed or downloaded programs I could remember being created at the time or after the crashes started occurring.
One thought as to the possible problem has been a driver for my computer monitor. Window's update tells me that there is an important update for my monitor, HP w1907 flat screen 19 inch. When I try to update, the update fails telling me that access is denied. Window's update gives me error code 80070005. I tried going to HP's website, but did not have any luck with an update there either.
Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated!
