I honestly do not know what to say about that. Interesting find non the less. I was not aware that a quad 6850 was even going to be in production at any point, but it isn't on any sites I can find so It must be one of the few that Intel allows access to their products before release. I have seen it with many big time overclockers...this could be a similar situation, but non the less I would like to have one. lol

Actually, reporting clocks in that fashion is quite common, especially running under Vista.

It's probably a QX6800.  There ARE quite a few of those floating around.  Maybe he just upped the FSB on it?

As for the video card. I have software detect things wrong all the time. Once software told me that my X1900XT had 1024 ram and it has 512.

I've run 3Dmark before but never really looked at what hardware it was reporting so I never noticed it.  It seems strange to me that "The Gamers Benchmark" would list the wrong video hardware specs.

Your first link has 3Dmark listing it as a Q6850 and CPUZ as a QX6850.  And your second link has QX6850 listed at the top but the E6850 in their screenshot of CPUZ, HUH?.  Either way if it is available, I WANT ONE!!!.
