I have a thumb drive that the dog thought was a chew toy. I can plug it into a USB but no go. most supporting chips are broken but the main memory chip looks fine. anyone know of a company who can remove the main chip and read it?

If you can find the same model of stick, dismantle it and try to unsolder your chip and replace the chip on the new stick.

Or find a friend who has the necessary soldering skills -- that may be tough because surface mount technology now makes it much harder to fix electronics.
