Hello,
when I send an attachment, it shows up at the attachment bar but also in the email text.
I send an attachment by right clicking on the picture and select "send to", etc.
Is there a way to send any attachment without it also showing up in the email text?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Instead of using the Send To option, have you tried creating a new email message and inserting a file attachment.

This way will show the file as an attachment without the text.

Thank you, DigiFixit. Actually, I have tried that also and it still came in as an and picture in the message text.
In the meantime, I got a new laptop with Win7 and so far the attachments are working correctly.
Again, thank you for taking the time to write. I appreciate it very much! Ann
