Set Acer 5315 OS to Factory Settings but now no OS Vista loading up, says I need

Hello,
Im having a major problem with my laptop. It suddenly went all funny in the last couple of days and most of my files and programmes stopped responding and then the blue screen showed up and at the bottom it kept showing: 0000007X, dont know what this is. It worked perfectly in Safe Mode but not in Normal. So then I decided to re-set it to Factory Settings and when I went to restart it said because of a software/hardware update the OS is not loading up, so install Vista CD. Thing is I dont have any recovery CDs so what can I do???

Call Acer and tell them their restore partition screwed up and what are they going to do about it. If they can't tell you how to fix it, demand a restore DVD.
