Hey all,

I tried about a year ago with mixed results on hooking my pc via the DVI
connector to this model HDTV: Panasonic PT50-LC13.

I was using an Ati 9500 pro video card. I now have the 9800 pro card. I
was not versed in the formats to any degree at the time, but Im still trying
to learn as I go. I see there is no definitive answer the more I
look....figure that.

Anyways, It seemed that switching between the resolutions either on my card,
or the tv produced several results. Im just hoping to find a "default"
answer for some of the most basic questions. Is 1080i or 780i the "best"
for watching "golden girls"? What is the best native resolution for trying
out pc oriented tasks (winxp). What about gaming at high resolutions (1280
or 1600 etc..)

Is there a few good links to look at? I know that Im asking a lot, but I
will try to learn more if you all could point me the way.

P.S. I "DO NOT" watch the Golden girls... its just an example :)

Thanks all,
SL
