I have been having these strange problems with vista lately, and they all revolve around my internet connection (it has been great otherwise).

1) My internet connection keeps getting disconnected when i run a BitTorrent client (Event Viewer says something about RasClient with error code 0). This went away by removing IPv6 from my connection. Why does this happen? As far as i know RasClient is used when connection to remote sources, and i'm not.

2) How do i make vista dial up my PPoE connection at startup? Simply putting it in the startup folder didn't work.

Thats it for now, thanks.

Btw, i don't know if this matters but i didn't install my modem drivers (i hadn't on XP neither).

Might try the modem drivers, maybe there's a software setting in there that will tell it to do that, or maybe get like an antivirus program or something of that sort to check for updates via internet whenever your machine starts, that may force it into connecting as well.
