Problem while installing a software

Hello,

I am trying to install an application in Windows 7 (tried the same in Win xp as well)and the sytem is giving the following message


"viewer you have packed will not run on windows 3.1

pls help with your suggestion.

Does it list Windows 7 as a compatable system? You can try to run it in compatability mode. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Make-older-programs-run-in-this-version-of-Windows
