Windows Vista Repair Install

I recently did a vista repair install, which worked fine. However, every time I start up or reboot the notebook I get the option to do a repair or go into windows. If I don't select to boot into windows it goes straight into the repair options and this takes several minutes to cancel. How do I get rid of this option?

I've never heard of this symptom, but in BIOS select the first boot device as the hardrive Vista is installed on.
