Hello group,

I have an older 20" Hewlett Packard A4033A monitor. It does utilize the VGA
to (5) outputs RGB + H/V. I can run high resolutions for typical pc
activities and dvd/xvid. Aside from the age of this monitor, the picture is
very nice. I just wonder If I was to get an HDTV capable cable box
(Adelphia), would I benefit to "any" degree watching on the 20" or just my
standard 21" tv. I ask, because I may jump up to the newer box at no
additional cost even though I do not have a standard HDTV set yet. My
birthday is coming up, and the tv set is "secret" present Im not supposed to
know about. I doubt it will be a top notch set of course, but I would not
mind experimenting until its arrival.

thanks group,
SL
