I've got a user with a strange problem. When he powers up his PC, he is unable to access his network drives or get to the exchange server (he is able to get to and browse the internet). If he does an IPCONFIG /release, IPCONFIG /renew, he is able to get to all these devices, no problems. He is connecting to these resources through a VPN link over a DSL connection. This happens every time he powers off/powers on his system. I've tried just about every network setting change on his PC that I can think of. Anyone have any ideas? It would be most appreciated.
Thanks.

Does the user initiate the VPN link or is it automatic/full time through the network setup or when the computer boots?
