Dual Monitors with a 7800 GT

Sorry for the dumb question; the 7800 GT I got was "card only" and had no documentation.

I currently use a 22" widescreen LCD with the card and I was wondering if it's possible to use the other port to hook up a 17" CRT and be able to switch back and forth between the two (not as a dual monitor setup)?

I know I could probably just try it, but it requires some major reshuffling of my computer room and it would be nice to know if it's possible before I go through all of that trouble.

Again - if this is a really dumb question, sorry. I've never done any kind of multi-monitor thing.

yes its easy. just make sure you have it set to either span across both monitors, have two seperate desktops. or in your case you might just want to clone the desktop so whatever you do on one screen happens on the other. the only problem you might run into is screen resolution.

so just go into your screen properties and select the screen you want to use.

yup, and if you want you can also connect an hdtv (if you get the VIVO cables) and switch between the HDTV, and both monitors
