Hello,
I bought the x1950xt agp by gecube to prolong my suffering. the advertised specs were 648 and 675 overclocked core.in my ati tool tray it says current vpu speed is 500 and requested is 675and current mem clock is 594 and requested is 702. when i try the ati auto overclocking it goes up to requested and stops but doesnt change. i believe my actual speed is shown as current and want to know what im doing wrong why am i running slower than the card i upgraded from x800xt? plz help

Those are the 2D speeds.

what he said.

when your not doing anything (aka just on your desktop), the card doesnt need to run at full speed...it can just slack around and still give you a display. So the clock speeds are automatically reduced.

As soon as you start playing a game however, the speeds should increase on its own to the requested levels
