Help !! When it comes to a video card I am a little bit overwhelmed. I was at Fry's and they had 3 sections, prices all the way up to 650.

I am building a new system:

e6600 or high processor (going to wait till after July22 price drop)
Asus p5k Deluxe Mother board
2gb Crucial Memory 1066
Sea Sonic s12 600w PS
Antec P180b case
Cd and & HD, etc...

But for the video card i have no idea. I do not need a real expensive card, I am not a PC Gamer, but will be doing some video editing and renderring.

Budget wise, I was thinking of 100 to 150 range.

Suggestions

thanks

With the hd capabilities of the new 8000 series a plain 8600gt is the max you should buy if you are not gaming.

Graphic cards don't interfere with video rendering/editing tasks (just hd playback in this case).
