I have a Radeon 9700 on my Dell Dimension 8250 system.
However, rather than being Radeon 9700 or 9700 Pro, it is called Radeon 9700 "XT".
I am curious/suspicious that this is almost like a retail 9700, but that it's rather an OEM card that you see on big manufacturers' system parts.
Can you guys clarify for me?
Secondly, if this card is the same as the retail 9700, I was looking to get a fanless VGA card (stock's makes noise) and was looking to get: Arctic Cooling's, Accelero S2. Now, does the 9700 create too much heat that it won't make a difference, added by the fact that Dell's case is not a great vent?
Lastly, installation would be a worry: I looked at the Dimension's case dimensions as well as the Accelero's, but I am still skeptical about fitting.
