Error 0x0000007B while installing windows xp

I have new Laptop with Intel T6600 CPU and 2 GB Ram Using existing HD (WD 320GB w/Windows Vista install on it'd At start up, POST is clean (HD is OK Meme is OK, CPU is found) system will load XP setup files from CD, then go to BSOD w/STOP: 0X0000007B error shown. what do I need to do to fix it?

Check if you have SATA Native mode in BIOS. If so, switch to it and try again.
