They rewrote the "stolen" FFMPEG codec from 3.0.0 to current 3.2.0 version (it is stolen as no credits in EULA)

And it crashed with my system (and i don't know why netbook run ok), may be the ATI hardware decodec/ FFMPEG or FFDShow or TV tuner, i posted to their custom support FOUR MONTHS AGO and they replied: update the driver (but i already had the latest driver)

Here is the detail

I reinstall 3.0.0 it successfully passed through avcodec-52.dll but the force update stopped me to use it, so seems the problem is solely avcodec-52.dll

Livestation here: Sorry to hear you've had problems, but Livestation 3.2.0 has been out for well over a year now and while there are some issues with avcodec instability, we are not actively developing the software at the moment, as we've moved to a more web and mobile oriented platform.

As for "stealing" FFMpeg, we clearly acknowledge our FFMpeg and other open source library usage in the About Livestation dialog and also in the readme files which ship with the application installers. I'll admit that at one point we were entered into the hall of shame for not referencing this in earlier versions, but we made sure that was sorted out in our later releases.

If you've got a particular issue we can help you with then do contact our support desk or reply to this thread. I'll monitor it for replies.

Thanks
