guys..

I just bought maxtor personal storage 3200, 500gb..

I'm kinda dislike it given the fact that it doesn't have any on/off power switch, so I wonder if I could open the case, take out the hdd, and put it into another enclosure?

I read somewhere that it can't be taken out because it's already built into the enclosure,

but if anyone could confirm which one is true, I would be grateful..

anyone ever done this?

unless you see some sticker that breaks, thus voiding the warranty, I'd just start taking it apart.
