Howdy
i'm having problems with my home network. I think i need to clear the DNS cache but i can't when i go to repair the connection. i have tried typing in "ipconfig /flushdns" in the command prompt screen but i get an error message saying "could not flush the DNS resolver cache: function failed during execution"
I am now out of ideas on what to do so help would be very good
might be able to help more if you actually told us the issue. You should still be able to use your network and the internet fine even with that error, seeing as you can disable dns caching and your computer will still work fine. Would be an issue if you are on a network using microsoft active directory. also note that if you disable the dns client service you will get that same error message, but it wont mean anything in that case

What OS are you running as well, that error is "really" common in Vista.
