My requirements for a new PC are: I will OC only moderately (maybe 10%). Applications inlcude mostly browsing, office apps and DVD burning. I want this PC to be quiet and fast. I will keep the same configuration for 5-6 years.

After research, these are the components I am considering in building a new PC:

1. Antec 182 + optional 120mm fan in front
2. Seasonic S12 600W
3. Asus P5K or P5K Deluxe Wi-Fi
4. Q6600 or E6850
5. OCZ 2G (1G X2) DDR2800 Titanium XTC Edition(4-4-4-15)
6. Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro or SCYTEH SCNJ-1100P or ZALMAN CNPS9500
7. Asus Extreme AX1950 or Asus Extreme N7900GS
8. Western Digital 500G Caviar SE16 SATA2

I will build this PC in a month, after the Jul-22 price cut. Please give me your comments.

the P5K DeLuxe strikes me as an expensive board for your needs especially if you don't need RAID.
If you do need RAID unless you really need the built-in WiFi (as opposed to via an addin card) you could save quite a lot of money by going for something like 1 of abit's IP35 series or Gigabytes P35 series.

This is why I also consider P5K.

GigaByte GA-P35C-DS3R costs $160US in Newegg but the same Mobo costs $220CAN in Toronto. On the other hand, P5K costs $155CAN and P5K-Deluxe costs $245CAN.
