MY (D:) on windows vista is gone how do i fix

I suppose I don't know why it just is gone, Tried to download another burner won't work. HELP PLEEEEZ

If your Dvd Rom Drive doesn't work try connecting it to a Different Port. If It doesn't Work try getting a new cable and trying it out. Worst case scenario if it doesn't work I would go and buy a new drive they only cost 30-40 bucks! You can try and download firmware from the manufacurer's site maybe to flash the bios again to factory defaults.
