Running Windows XP and Windows Vista on same computer

Hello,
I was hoping someone could tell me how to go about adding Windows XP" to a computer that is presently running Windows Vista and be able to switch from one system to the other. Is that possible?

  1. Yes it can be done, here's how> http://support.microsoft.com/kb/919529
You normally install the oldest system first, obviously it has no knowledge of the newer one and it will overwrite the bootloader.
  2. If you think the solution that Jonmor68 has given to you is too tricky to set up, you might also want to consider installing it in a virtual pc such as Microsoft virtual pc http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=04d26402-3199-48a3-afa2-2dc0b40a73b6&displaylang=en or VMware http://www.vmware.com/products/player/ The Vista installation will not be messed with with this method
  3. Here's a tutorial on how to Dual Boot Win 7 and XP

The procedure for Vista and XP is the same.
