Which set of chips (below) has better D9 Micron binnig? Do you think that both of these chips work in a Gigabyte GA P35 DS3R board? I need help picking good memory based on this board considering OCing potential and stability. Your help is appreciated

Should work, but email tech support and ask if you want to be sure. I have 5 GBs of the G. Skill. Will overclock to 1000 mhz.

Costs more?

Hard to say which would have higher binned D9s.... have heard that the GSkill is using some non-GMH D9s in those modules, so dunno. Personally I'd get Crucial Ballistix, and the PC8500 stuff if you can afford it and really want to OC your ram..... this is consistently getting the highest overclocks at the moment, not surprising really as Crucial are owned by Micron :)

To OP: Both of the mentioned stick doesn't use D9GMH anymore

As GSte said, to get D9GMH with 100% chance you have to buy Crucial Ballistix or the somewhat rare Crucial Anniversary PC-5300.
While for D9GKX, most PC-8500 and above rated should have them, but at super premium cost.

A few weeks ago I saw Ballistix 800 2x1G was $109 AR on NewEgg, dunno if it's still there anymore.

Hey, good to see you're still around Wusy :D
