OK, just to summarise and revise, this is where I'm now at. Sorry to repeat myself, but no one replied much to my last thread, and I'm itching to buy, and just want to be sure I haven't made any silly mistakes I'm gonna regret later. So I'm making this one shorter and simpler. And if you want to make a "I prefer this brand, myself..." comment, please bear in mind that I've done alot of searching and question-asking to get this far, so if it's gonna make a significant difference then go ahead, but if it's really just a negligible matter of personal taste, then I ask that you let me know that when you make the comment.

Corsair XMS2 TwinX Match 2X1Gb
AMD Athlon X2 4200+
ASRock ALiveSATA2-GLAN -----OR----
ABIT AN52

WD Caviar SE WD2500AAJS 250 Gb
Radeon X1950 pro
Thermaltake TR2 W0101 550W
Cooler Master Elite 330

Obviously the only variable I've left in is the Motherboard, let me know which one you think better. They're both almost the same price for me.
Comments?

Sorry if I am disruptive, but I would go with a Intel P35 motherboard, specifically the Gigabyte one:

much better than AMD right now.

But P35s are for Intel Chips aren't they? I'm way past that decision, I'm definately going with AMD. I'm on a budget here ;) Thanks anyway

I'd go with an 8800GTS 320 instead of an X1950 Pro. It will cost a bit more but there's nothing in the DX10 field that's in the same range. Sadly, both ATI and Nvidia have left out new $200 cards in favor of getting rid of old inventories.

Otherwise, it looks good. I have no issues with my Athlon X2 4600+, it runs everything I want to throw at it and by the time Agena shows up, then I can upgrade.

8800GTS is definately out of my price range, thanks for the reply though.

I know this may be a boring thread, but could a few more people (who know what they're talking about) please just lemme know if it all looks good? This is my first real build by myself and I'm just a little afraid if I go ahead and buy I'll find some flaw in compatability or something.

Here are a few thoughs:

For the video card, since you are on a budget, this is an awesome deal on a x1900GT. It is $105 shipped NIB and is comparable to the x1950pro:
http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=327110

For the processor, I would go with the x2 3600+. These effortlessly overclock to 2.6Ghz and beyond. ewiz.com has the AC Freezer Pro on sale for $21 shipped and newegg has the retail 3600+ for $64 shipped. That should outperform the 4600+ for less money.

On the MOBO, I love the one I have in my sig. ASRock support is good and their website is easy. Flashing the bios takes seconds, I would easily recommend the board I have, but the one you listed isn't very good. The only con is it won't run my 4GBs of RAM at 1T (it would with 2GBs) maybe an error on my part.

So, here is the budget build I would do:
3600+ with 2GB G.Skill PC6400 for $142
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103046
Arctic Colling Freezer Pro 64 - $21
http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?name=FAN-AC6PRO
x1900GT- $105
http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=327110
Cosair HX520- $95
http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=373100

Motherboard Options-
ASUS Crossfire board -$90
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131175
Sapphire 690G (mATX and overclocks well)- $65
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813154014

Total: $428-453 for a killer budget set-up, much more cost efficient and performs as well as what you originally listed.

A little more reasoning to my choices. I think the TT TR2 power supplies are terrblie, the Corsair 520 is a much stronger, better quality PSU. The 2 motherboards I listed are proven performers. I LOVE mATX so I went with the sapphire on my most recent build for a friend and it is very nice. For $105, you can't beat the 1900GT IMO. Also, the 3600+ACPro combo is awesome. The G.Skill RAM will perform just as well if not better then the more expensive corsair units you selected. Right now, mine is running right at 900Mhz with CL4 timings.

Cool, thanks alot guys. Unfortunately TSI, I'm in Denmark, and so cannot utilise those deals you mentioned, and some of the parts you listed are either unavailable or too expensive here. Still, I'm taking into account what you said.
So thanks again.

Ah, okay. I still stand by the PSU change though. Get something that is going to last you. If you are set on TT go for the toughpower series. Good luck with everything.
