I have gotten so sick of Firefox's updates and the add-ons not working. I'm thinking of going back to Internet Explorer. Is there a way to get all of my cookies, history, passwords, and usernames from FF to IE? Thanks!

See what happens when you select IE as your primary browser! I belief it will ask you if you want to import all settings.

No one is pushing u to upgrade to new betas. If its not broken, don't fix it.

Stay in one version of FF where u are OK with working add-ons , right?

Unfortunately, IE9 is a bit different. It only imports favorites and feeds from another browser.

I guess that'll have to be my solution until I figure out an easy way to transfer it over. I just dont want to have any security holes.

BTW, try google chrome, its speedy devil ...

Do this ....

1. Open Firefox, Toolbar go to Bookmarks/Organize Bookmarks.
2. Expand Import and Backup and select Export HTML.
3. Then export your Firefox bookmark collection to a desktop location.
4. Open Internet Explorer 9 and hit Alt+T to bring up the Toolbar. Then click File / Import and export.
5. In the Import/Export Settings select Import from a file. Notice there is Import from another browser.
6. Now browse to the location where you saved the exported Firefox bookmarks previously.
7. Select the destination and click Import.

I'd use Chrome, but my biggest need is Foxytunes - which doesn't work with Chrome.

I did what you suggested, but that only transfers the bookmarks. I still want to transfer cookies, passwords, etc
