Need help getting rid of a trojan!

I think i have a trojan on my computer. my storage hard drive is really slow. i booted my computer up in safe mode and i have ran 2 scans with malwarebytes and vipre (got it for free through tomshardware) and they have not found anything. i need this computer to run asap. what other security application should i try?

You may want to try malwarebytes while NOT running in safe mode for these reasons... (see this post)

The malware guide in my signature (which nikorr linked) is a thorough guide, and will remove most any malware.

The reasons for running scans (not just malwarebytes) in safe mode with networking were made clear in the thread linked by hawkeye22.

thanks you guys the trojan was actually on my friends comp....he just booted it up agen and it was good....idk if it was even a virus now.

ran malwarebytes enough and it got it off
