Step 1

Select the Windows "Start Menu."

Step 2

Click to select "Computer" in Windows Vista or "My Computer" in other versions of Windows. This will open a new window.

Step 3

Double-click on your primary hard drive, typically listed first in the "My Computer" window and labeled as "Local Disk (C:)." This will show you all files and folders on your hard drive.

Step 4

Double-click on the "Program Files" folder.

Step 5

Scroll the list of "Programs Files" items until you notice a folder labeled "Internet Explorer." The list of "Program Files" may be very lengthy, but the folders are listed alphabetically by default, making it easy to locate the "Internet Explorer" folder.

Step 6

Double-click on the "Internet Explorer" folder.

Step 7

Right-click on the file labeled "Iexplorer.exe" and select "Delete" from the list of options. The executable file is now removed.

I hope this helps!
