How do I uninstall windows live movie maker from my xp

Why? There has to be some way. How can I reroute any videos sent to me so that they can be viewed on another media player instead of being automatically opened by windows movie maker? My friends live in Europe and the videos they send are not supported by movie maker. This program is utterly useless!

Change the default program for the video file type.

To uninstall 'Windows messenger' that comes with XP, there is a code you can type into run.
There might a code for uninstalling movie maker. Try searching Google
