Windows XP prefetch folder

During a partial hard disk wipe due to a virus infection I seem to have deleted the Windows XP prefetch folder. I have looked on the web and can't see anywhere I can get the prefetch folder to replace the deleted one. Any help on this matter would be gratefully received.

Just create the folder manually (C:\Windows\Prefetch). Windows will populate it automatically.
