I think I may have found a way to save my coaster designs.

Use a macro recorder.

A macro recorder will record keystrokes and play them back with the press of
a few buttons. I think it might be possible to use one of these programs
with the demo and then play back the macro file with the full retail
version. At the very least, it might be a way to share designs until the
retail version is released.

One slight problem. Windows no longer ships with a macro recorder. Does
anyone know of a good one? I'd prefer one that produced human readable files
so that I can go in and clean them up. Perhaps like this
