I've been on a home network with my wife using a router for years--but we've
NEVER been able to access each other's printers. We've tried many different
configurations but nothing seems to work.
Is there anyone out there who really knows how to do this? We would be
gratefully appreciative.

You usually need to install the printer drivers on each PC, ie the Printers

PC's
Each PC must be logged on to the other, both PC's need to be on.
With certain reuters you can connect the printer direct to the reuter.
