I need help

Hi, I have after gettting a new hp computer and XP is installed in it and I got a disc for vista with it too. If i wanted to install vista on my computer and if i didnt like it could I downgrade back to XP with an XP disc?

You can install Vista, install all the drivers and if vista doesn't like to you, you can install XP again. BUT for install XP you need do a clean installation of XP.

For install XP you need delete the partition where you have Win vista. A clean installation is an installation from the begining, doing the partition and everything else.

Or like patmcgroind said, install a dual-boot. But only if you have enough space on your HDD
