high density memory and intel boards

hello all,

I have a bit of a problem. I bought high density or double density ram for my dell deminsion 1100.. the ram i baught is 1 gig 3200 ddr. it did not work on my intel board, is there any ways around this, even if i can get it to recognize half the ram... I have already tried to update my bios..

Check with dell to make sure your computer can handle either/both high density and double sided memory. More than likely its not liking the double sided part.
