does anyone have any first hand experience?
cause that fan cover thing on the lian li case seems like it would keep me from fitting the cooler in the case.
Also i will be using it with a ASUS P5K3 DELUXE motherboard

any help would be appreciated
thanks!!

I have a 9500 LED and I've got it fitted in my Lian-Li PC60 Plus, although I had to leave off the fan cover. Works a treat.

Remove the attached fan mount, and the CPU outtake vent, and you should be ok. I just hope I can mount my Thermalright Extreme 120 in my V1000B case.

yes it will fit I have the 2 v1000s and 1 with the zalman 9500. and it fits perfectly. it's a big case so almost everything will fit in it. the only thing that could be a tight fit would be the PSU. but you could always remove the hard drive bracket.

that is great guys but i just realized that id ont want the 9500!!! i want the 9700....... stupid zalman and their humungous coolers... love them though
ALSO how do you like the cooling in the case and by taking that metal piece the case still keeps cool right?

Also wondering if i'll be able to fit this huge cooler on a ASUS P5K3 DELUXE/WIFI-AP
without porblems
thanks again!!!!

i,m sure it will not stick out the side of the case, because my zalman 9500 still has alot of space to available to the side. but the cooler might hit the bottom of the case.

but by looking at my 9500 installed. I would think it would fit, so i would do it. because even if the 9700 touches the bottem it would still work fine.

alright i hope so!!!
cause that extra cooling power will help me overclock that much more
(hopefully)

thanks! I'
ll post pics if and when i ever finish it haha

If you happen to be using a 680i board it won't work. The cooler will hit the bottom of the case.

God yes! That Lian Li case is huge. It could probably even fit a IFX14 by Thermalright (don't quote me on that).
