Vista error message The handle is invalid

Hello,I have a gateway laptop and a week after installing Microsoft security essentials i went to log on with a Huai air card from Alltel and I keep getting a Error message The handle is invalid it has a triangle in yelow with an ! in it. Any one have any Ideas. I have removed the Microsoft Sec Essen. and it still doesnt work.
