Hello guys, I really need your help. I have an hp a6057d, and I want to change the PSU since its only 250W, and Im getting an 8600GT. A computer technician said he "thinks" the PSU of this Pavilion model is small, so I cant change it with PSU sold in computer shops(hp dont have one higher at the moment). Is this true? Or will it still fit?

Also, I emailed hp, they said that Pavilion model is only up to 400W. Most good PSU are 450 and 500W. The 400W ones are generic, and I dont wanna get those. lol. So is it dangerous of I go above 400W? Should I just downgrade it to 350W?

I will really appreciate any help!

BIGGEST THANKS!
