Ok so I am no computer genius an I can usually sort most things out myself but this I cant,hope someone can help,I have got a tower unit that I have had for a year nd a half I suppose,never used it online just been set up for kids to play off line games on,but due to the fact my other has gone pear shaped and needed to get online I set it up to use it for internet use, I loaded up my bt internet stuff for broadband ect there were 53 updates waiting to go on,so downloaded these to the computer and now when ever it gets started up it says
there are errors with internet explorer the details of this are as follows

it wont let me use anything on the computer and all the homescreen icons have gone too :S

I tried a restore to earlier point but this has not worked

Ok...
Try Ctrl+Alt+Del and then click on "New task..."
Then browse to the C:\WINDOWS
Then click on explorer.exe.
Does this help?

I have used Unlocker tool at www.unlocklertool.com to delete files that was locked.
