Use the SSD manufacturers utility. Like Intels SSD Toolkit really does an amazing job.

i have the f60 ssd but never seen any software.....

Do you want to erase all the data that was on it completely so that it can't be recovered?
That is something which is not possible, but, you can erase it to make it really next to impossible to get data back from it.

Be Careful about HDDErase3.3 as the MarkC Blog very clearly states , it can as has in some cases, locked the SSD.

wouldn't freespacecleaner_ff wipe it, by filling everything with 1's.

Zero fill is a good option, but ultimately, it does leave a little bit of info somewhere. A low level format might work if it is possible in systems nowadays. They used to have that option earlier.

i used a program to wipe the hdd but now it wont find the ssd if windows is on the hdd, same with windows on the ssd it wont find the hdd?

any idea why?

sold the pc with just the hdd, but the ssd work with windows so was it the motherboard?

in bios it would show both?

It wouldn't find the HDD-SSD from within windows or in the bios itself.
If either one didn't show up in the bios, it isn't going to show up in Windows as an active disc.

sorry i mean it showed them up in bios..... and windows install. but not in when windows was installed......

DBAN is one of the best free utilities you can get. I work at a bank, and routinely use it to wipe our PCs.

Nope, I don't believe so. The DBAN comment was more for the HDD part of the HDD/SSD.
