I am unsure if I want to get into water cooling quite yet, but I would like a stable overclock on the c2d e6600, so what is the best heatsink + fan combo on the market for the lga775 socket? The case this is going into is the NZXT Zero:

So it is quite roomy with good airflow.

Thanks.

If you're really serious a Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme, the case fan will depend really on how loud you like it, a Scythe S-Flex is a great combination. There are more powerful fans but they make more noise.

You might have to lap the heatsink to get the real performance out of it, but there are many heatsink lapping guide's to help you through that.

For a cheaper price and slightly worse performance you can get an all in one package with Tuniq Tower 120, it comes with the fan, thermal paste, the base won't need to be lapped and also a fan controller.

While the Ultra 120 Extreme is the best it takes more than just a fan and a one time intallation to get all the performance out of it.

So take your pick on how deep you want to jump in.

I do not believe it ships with two clips for two fans. But its nothing two zip strips couldn't handle.
