Installing Vista with different SP than original SP Tags: Cases Windows Vista Last response: August 13, 2010 5:42 AM in Windows Vista Share Scooch August 13, 2010 1:31:59 AM Hello, I have a quick question. I lost my vista disk but I still have the serial as it is on my case. The original install was with SP1. If I use a Vista SP2 disk to reinstall will the serial be valid if it is a serial for SP1? So long as the versions match the SP2 will be fine. | Report abuse Ask the community Publish Tom's Hardware>Forum>Windows Vista>Installing Vista with different SP than original SP> Related ressources: ForumComparison: Windows Vista & XP Pro SP 2 With Intel Quad Q6600?
