I currently have a 3:4 ratio (cpu-z) is this mean my bottleneck is my cpu ? If I turn down the mghz of RAM to 400 (original setting 533mhz 4-4-4-12) then it will become 1:1 DRAM:FSB RATIO... I was planning to get a MUSHKIN 667 dual channel 4-4-4-10, I thought I will have alot better performance. but from the look of it i'm only going to waste my money.

O.k. here's the big ???, should I make it a 1:1 ratio or should I just leave it as 3:4 ratio. What is the benefit of having on 1:1 ratio anyway ?

p.s. I also have EVEREST 4 AND IT SAID ON CPUID is 4:3 I dont know which one to believe....

I HAVE A P4 3.2 W/HT 641 800 FSB

Run your memory speed two notches higher with the around the same latency.
What i mean by two notches higher is that if you're using 533mhz RAM in dual channel, then run it at 800mhz if you can using the same memory modual to gain about 5% performance at the most. The timing i was refering to is the Nanoseconds not Cl timings.

If you overclock your memory modual from 533mhz to 667 mhz, you will usually see some decrease in performance.
