custom case

ok
so im gonna be building a custom case soon
[well at least hopefully]
and i was wondering where i could get a really crap case from
just like some old case that someone would sell for cheap
like something you could find at a garage sale
anyone know where a good place to buy these from?

also
does anyone know what a good brand of paint to use is?
[like good price, or good quality]

and
any other info that you think could help me

the bay of E will no doubt furnish you with some very poor cases!! That or go down to your local pc shop.. just ask for the cheapest thing they have.. as you'll be chopping it about any way. Some shops get old pc's in throw loads of the components away.. you might be able to ask them to keep an old case for you.

As for paint.. well depends on what you have in mind and where abouts you are based. I'd suggest having a look on a dedciated modding website say somewhere like this:

look in the neighbourhood side streets on household pickup day? Go to the local tip? ask friends / neighbours for left-overs? The possibilities are endless.

Paint.... ask your local panel beaters. God advice there, if you ask politely.

asking a small PC shop for their "crap-overs" sounds like a good idea

and

yeah i was thinkin about going to a car shop to paint it
but it might cost a bitch load
