Cant boot past startup screen

I recently setup a home network with my desktop and netbook; both are running XP. I was having trouble logging on without getting an error message until last nigth when I enabled the Welcome and Fast switching logon options.
Now I can\t boot past the Windows is starting screen.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Try to make a restore point, or boot in safe mode.
