I have a TT A2349 fan controller and temp monitor with 4 thermal probes that i use to monitor my system temps, so i would like to place one of those probes on the mobo, preferably somewhere around a northbridge. The probe is attached to an object with a sticky piece of tape, i'm wondering if its safe to stick this tape anywhre on the mobo. Does anyone know?

Yes, as long as you dont stick it between any heatsinks and chips. I ususally try to get one as close to the chip as possible if that is what I want to monitor.
