Windows ReadyBoost (Please Help!)

Hey guys I am currently using a laptop to play games online with. I've got 4G of RAM. I read online that for ReadyBoost it is recommended that you use a flash drive with double the amount of RAM that is currently in your machine. If I plug in an 8G Flash Drive for ReadyBoost, will it make a noticable performance difference? If so, what is the best / cheapest / most reliable Flash Drive I can get that will work for ReadyBoost?

Readyboost is only useful if you have less than 4GB of RAM, on a system with 4GB or more it actually seems to slow down the boot up time.
